HOPE. HEALING. HEART.

Now Booking Keynotes & Talks

I’ve always known that I wanted to share my cancer story beyond my friends and family to encourage, educate, and create connection. The Beauty in Breast Cancer is now a keynote experience designed for survivors, caregivers, loved ones, oncology teams, and community groups who want to better understand the emotional journey of breast cancer.

What began as a private FB page for those closest to me has evolved and I’ve found that so many people relate and connect with the lessons I’ve learned. These talks explore resilience, healing, and the moments of unexpected beauty that can emerge from one of life’s most difficult chapters.

Topics I Speak On:

  • Coping with the emotional impact of a diagnosis

  • What I wish I knew after finding out

  • How to respond to “well-meaning” but unhelpful advice

  • Asking for what you need so your energy can focus on healing

  • Supporting caregivers and loved ones

  • Finding moments of hope and beauty during and after treatment

  • Nurturing body image and self-care during and after cancer

  • Building resilience and redefining strength

  • Discovering who you are when the old you no longer seems to fit

  • Creating a fulfilling “next chapter” in survivorship

If you’re planning an event, conference, or team gathering and want to offer an uplifting, heartfelt, and practical message, I’d love to connect. Click the “Contact Bettina” button at the top of this page to explore booking a keynote or facilitated conversation for your group. It would be an honor to create something meaningful together.

  • Many people ask, ‘Why me?’ but for some reason, my heart always asked, ‘Why not me?’ When I learned that 1 in 8 women will face breast cancer, I understood that I wasn’t exempt — and that my journey could carry its own meaning.

  • It was hard to articulate that there was a before-cancer Bettina and an after-cancer Bettina. Maybe it didn't seem that way to others, but I felt it almost from day 1.

  • The most incredible reaction anyone had to being told about my diagnosis was from my dad. He said, "Well Beep (family nickname), now it's time for everyone you've loved on your whole life to love on you." Oh my heart...

  • I’ve always worn rose-colored glasses — not to ignore the hard things, but to remind myself there’s always a silver lining if you're looking for one. That perspective definitely carried me through the worst days.

  • The Beauty in Breast Cancer continues to be the love I receive, the lessons I learn, and the unbelievable ways the Universe holds me up through it all.
